    Day Nineteen:
Added a page today about the sorry state of the economy and it's effects on us. It is bad out there and it doesn't look like it's going to get better very soon. With the worth of our homes falling, our debt out of control and jobs becoming more scarce it is only a matter of time before a lot more people lose every thing they have gained in their lives. Something needs to be done--and soon!
I know what it's like, I'm resently out of a job myself and the presser is on to keep up with my debt. The stress is killing me! I'm going to get unemployment, but I have to wait a few more weeks to get it--not soon enough! What kills me is that I've never been late with payments before and now every single one of them will be late. It really sucks. Not only that, but what I'm going to get from unemployment is a pittance, and it will leave me very little to do anything I enjoy in life. For the most part I've worked all my life (accept when I was screwing up on crack), and now that I've got it together I really want to put some savings away, I'm not getting any younger (44), and I don't have much time left to really save for my retirement. Ironic, huh? Get it together and the bottom drops out!
So what can we do? I really don't know, all I can say is pray. And if you don't believe in a "god" (like me) pray anyway--it can't hurt!
Good speed to all of you out there, and keep a stiff upper lip--things change and it's up to us to do the best we can....
                                                                                    See ya',
                                                                                                 Scotty
